Bellevue Berry Week is July 16-23,2025

By the time mid-July rolls around, most of the Pacific Northwest has gone feral for summer fruit. Farmer's Markets erupt in an explosion of berries, and my inbox gets alerts for U-Pick season at the local blueberry farms. And now, Bellevue is joining the party restaurant by restaurant, cocktail by cocktail, with a brand-new citywide celebration: Berry Week, running July 16-23, 2025. 

Each participating restaurant or partner is spotlighting an extra special, berry delicious, fun summer dish or bevvy as Bellevue kicks off its new Culinary Weeks programming, a new seasonal dining series highlighting the iconic ingredients and global flavors that define the city's culinary scene. And in true Bellevue fashion, it’s been designed to be equal parts delicious, tech-savvy, and reward-driven.

🍓 What Exactly Is Berry Week?

Berries become the main character as over 25 restaurants and eateries across Bellevue spotlight berries: strawberries, blueberries, huckleberries, blackberries, and maybe even a sneaky cherry, in their featured dishes, desserts, and seasonal beverages. Some chefs went sweet, some went savory. Some clearly have a "forager on speed dial." 🍽️ What’s on the Menu During Berry Week?

Bellevue’s restaurants really said: what if we all went a little unhinged for berries at the same time? And honestly, bless them, because this line-up is berry fruit-forward and kind of extra- in the best way.

Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi is glazing a braised Wagyu beef cheek in huckleberry katsu and plating it with crispy leeks and pickled blueberries. They're following it up with a Yuzu Raspberry Posset that's got pitaya powder and goosberry gastrique. 

Bellden Café is here for your cottagecore dreams with their Sweet Berries Toast: ricotta, triple berry compote, hot honey, microbasil, and a perfect slice of brioche. It’s both comforting and capable.

Bellevue Brewing Company is delivering a Sweet Berry Salad with fresh strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries, while their Berry Tres Leches "Three Milks" Cake is bringing the drip with fresh cut berries - cool and delicious.

Head to Bis on Main to get your Brioche Bread Pudding with berries, white chocolate, caramel, and whipped cream to pair with their new Champagne doorbell at their doorway. You basically press the button, and champagne appears. Tres Bien!

Meanwhile, Black Bottle is doing pork tenderloin with wild berry balsamic and serving it next to a dangerously drinkable strawberry house-infused lemon drop called “Major Danger,” which feels dangerously delicious.

Duke’s Seafood is showing up with a Fresh Berry White Chocolate Shortcake layered with butter lemon pound cake, white chocolate Grand Marnier mousse, whipped cream, and a drizzle of white chocolate sauce. You’ll need a fork, a napkin, and possibly a life coach. Wash it down with their Wild Blackberry Margarita, made with muddled local berries and Casamigos, and suddenly you’re in your coastal grandma era, and it’s working for you.

El Gaucho is bringing us a couple of different items, with a cocktail named The Mistress that's got fresh blackberries and reposado tequila to pair with their Salad Sound Sustainable Mixed Greens with champagne vinaigrette, local berries, and pistachios. For dessert, there's a local berry crisp made with oven roasted cinnamon crumble, creme fraiche ice creame, and almond brittle.

Over at Farine Bakery & Cafe, things are fluffier but no less serious. There's a Strawberry Kiwi Pavlova that looks like it was designed by a pastry architect, and a Blackberry Lemon Spritz so light and lovely it might float off the table if you're not paying attention. Pair that with their fresh strawberry-topped waffle and you’ve officially transcended brunch.

At Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar, the bar is serving up Blueberry “KUR” Royale cocktail made with Kur Gin, or a Tonic Water Blueberry Lemon Ginnocence mocktail to pair with a juicy summer Strawberry salad made with Walla Walla sweets, Beech mushrooms, fresh strawberries, baby spinach, honey – sesame vinaigrette, candied cashews, warm chevre fillo crisps. 

At John Howie Steak, enjoy a Berry Cocktail made with Kur Gin, strawberry, lemon, and mint to pair with a Spinach and Strawberry Salad with sweet onions, peas, Marcona almonds, and Beecher's cheddar. For dessert, get your hands on a rich Strawberry Cheesecake topped with whipped creme fraiche and rhubarb sauce. 

Head to Third Culture Coffee for a Strawberry Matcha Drink, and Molly Moon's for a Cherry Sunday, or R+M Dessert Bar for a Berry Tiramasu.

🔥Bellevue Hotels Hyping Up Berry Week

The hotels may not be shouting, but they’re absolutely showing off. W Bellevue is pouring a Sparkling Strawberry Paloma with Veuve Clicquot, Belvedere Vodka, St. Germain, and grapefruit juice...aka luxury in a glass. The Westin Bellevue is here with a blueberry-thyme compote cheesecake that tastes like it’s wearing linen pants and reading something literary. Embassy Suites didn’t hold back: Blackberry spritz, Strawberry Peach Trifle, Spinach and Strawberry Salad with Beecher’s cheddar, and Strawberry Cheesecake with rhubarb sauce. It’s practically a buffet of berry elegance. And at InterContinental Bellevue, the Strawberry Mousse is simple, balanced, and served fresh.
