Getting Around

Transportation & Getting Around

Bellevue is lucky to be so immersed in the natural surroundings of the Pacific Northwest, yet so easy to get to by car, plane, train, or any other vessel. Centrally located in the region, Bellevue is your gateway to epic adventures. Here's how to get here and get around.

Bellevue's Urban Grid

Bellevue's streets are organized in a grid system, with a numbering system that starts on 1st Avenue in Seattle, begins in Bellevue. The Streets intersect the Avenues beginning in Bellevue's Main Street, which is where Old Bellevue is located - the original town center. It's really easy to get around the city, which is known as a "City in a Park" and "Tree City". It's nice to walk around here.

Now, we're also connected by 6 light rail stations on Sound Transit's 2 Line and BellHop, the free electric shuttle.
