Sea-Tac Airport

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), often referred to as Sea-Tac Airport, is 17 miles from Bellevue, Washington. It's actually located in the city of SeaTac, which named after the airport's "Sea-Tac" nickname. Operated by the Port of Seattle, Sea-Tac is the Pacific Northwest's gateway to the globe, and vice versa.

Fun Fact: Bellevue is just a 17 mile drive north of Sea-Tac on Interstate 405. Seattle is about the same distance from Sea-Tac on Interstate 5.

Airport Transportation

After you exit the arrivals doors, there are many transportation options to Bellevue.

APP BASED RIDESHARE

Rideshare options are readily available with Uber and Lyft. Make your way to the pick-up locations in the middle of the 3rd floor of the airport parking garage to wait for your ride. There are wayfinding signs. Your driver will park in the stall numbers 1 - 34 in the orange and purple sections of the garage.  (Some premium rides, like Uber Black, picks you up at the baggage claim door of your choice.)

Charters and Scheduled Rides, such as Shuttle Express Shared Ride Vans, Limos and Charters, are available.

TAXIS

Taxis are located on the 3rd floor of the parking garage, located on the north and south curb.

CAR RENTALS

Rental vehicles are available at the Rental Car Facility. Take the Rental Car Shuttle at any of the two passenger pick-up areas located outside baggage claim, which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

PUBLIC TRANSIT

Sound Transit operates two express bus routes that pick up and drop off passengers at the south end of the main terminal. Take the 560 to get to Bellevue. The Bellevue Transit Center is the main transit hub for the Eastside of King County. From here, you can walk, take the light rail or take the free BellHop shuttle to get around.
