Paine Field Airport (PAE)

Paine Field Airport (PAE), also known as Seattle Paine Field International Airport, is a regional airport located in Everett, about 22 miles north of Bellevue. The airport offers commercial service through the Seattle Paine Field Air Terminal,  which opened in 2019 and features premium amenities and a state-of-the-art design.  PAE was awarded Best Small Airport by Newsweek in 2024 and 2025 and was recently ranked the 5th Best Airport in the U.S. by The Washington Post.  Known for its concierge-style service and relaxed, lounge-like atmosphere, Seattle Paine Field is an ideal choice for travelers seeking a world-class, stress-free experience.

Airlines & Destinations

PAE is currently serviced by Alaska Airlines. Alaska offers direct service to the following destinations from PAE: Honolulu, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orange County, Palm Springs, Phoenix, Portland (coming June 2026), San Diego, and San Francisco.

Airport Transportation

Visitors arriving at Paine Field can reach Bellevue by car, rideshare, taxi, or private transportation services. 

• Driving is the most direct way to travel between Paine Field and Bellevue. The trip typically takes 30–45 minutes, depending on traffic, via I-5 and I-405.
• Rental car services like Avis, Budget, Alamo, Enterprise, and National operate at the terminal. We recommend that you confirm your rental vehicle in advance of arriving at the terminal.
