Issaquah Alps Trails Club

Restoring Native Landscapes

For nearly 50 years, the volunteer-run Issaquah Alps Trails Club has led conservation efforts focused on restoring native plant habitats to their original state. From monthly work parties on Squak Mountain to large-scale recovery efforts following storm and wildfire damage, their work helps reopen and protect critical public lands. The organization works with Washington State Parks, DNR, and the Snoqualmie Tribe to ensure restoration efforts respect native habitats and ancestral lands.

Through Bellevue Cares, groups can participate in guided, hands-on restoration events that support trail maintenance, habitat recovery, and long-term environmental stewardship.
