Downtown Bellevue is set to dazzle with art this winter with "Art on the Avenue," a contemporary art experience brought to life by Silverstein Properties, the globally recognized real estate developer. Opening November 29, 2024, the showcase is set within six storefronts at Avenue Bellevue, the new luxury mixed-use development on Bellevue Way, and will feature over 25 artists from Bellevue, Seattle, and around the world. The exhibit includes street art, abstract paintings, photography, and sculptures, offering a rich tapestry of styles for art lovers to explore during the Season of Cheer in Bellevue. The galleries will be open to the public, by appointment, through March 31, 2025.

Avenue Bellevue's First Major Cultural Activation Under New Ownership

The event marks the first major cultural activations since Silverstein Properties acquired Avenue Bellevue, further cementing the company’s commitment to blending luxury living, retail, and arts in the heart of downtown. The acquisition of Avenue Bellevue—located at 850 Avenue Square Northeast—adds to Silverstein’s global portfolio of landmark developments, such as the revitalization of New York City's World Trade Center.

Silverstein, founder and Chairman of Silverstein Properties. “It expands our thinking and offers a glimpse into the creative minds of the artists. This installation is a terrific way to bring life and creativity to Avenue Bellevue and showcase the work of a group of incredibly talented artists.”

A Showcase of Global and Local Talent

“Art on the Avenue” transforms six street-level storefronts into pop-up galleries, showcasing the work of more than 25 artists. Visitors can enjoy a diverse collection of contemporary styles, including street art, abstract works, documentary photography, and sculpture. The exhibit is open to the public by appointment through www.avenue.art.


The exhibit was curated in collaboration with Silver Art Projects, a non-profit residency program at New York’s World Trade Center that supports emerging artists. Featured creators include internationally renowned names, as well as talented local artists from the Pacific Northwest:
