About
Situated at the headwaters of Lewis Creek Stream, Lewis Creek Park includes wetlands, meadows, forests, and 3 miles of paved and softly-padded trails. This 44-acre park offers both environmental education and recreational activities. The developed portion of the park includes a basketball court, children’s play areas, two little league baseball fields with a soccer overlay, and two covered picnic shelters.
Additionally, the Lewis Creek Visitor Center is a 2,500 square-foot multipurpose center which includes regional park information, family programs, and a library. The Visitor Center is available for rentals and is ideal for small social events and business meetings. Park Rangers lead guided hikes through the park and offer interpretive programs on a wide-range of environmental topics fitting for both children and adults.
