Are you planning a convention or event in Bellevue? There are so many exciting and uniquely Pacific Northwest activities for your group to do, and here are some of our suggestions!

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE TOURS

When it comes to outdoor adventures, Bellevue offers amazing experiences, from rugged to refined.

Take your group to new heights with the Bellevue Challenge Course and Zip Tour. Explore their high and low challenge course, customizable to your group’s numbers. Or, for a more serene outdoor experience, schedule a docent-led walking tour of the Bellevue Botanical Garden, a nationally-recognized gem, containing gardens, meadows, suspension bridges, waterfalls, forests and more.

For a more regional experience, book a tour with Evergreen Escapes. We recommend selecting their Olympic Peninsula tour, where you can experience the only true rainforest in the continental U.S. Private tours can accommodate large groups up to 80.

WATER TOURS

Surrounded by Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish, Bellevue has plenty of nearby water activity to enjoy. From catching fish to catching a view, sailing to riding rapids, there are lots of opportunities to enjoy lakeside activities.

Enjoy a 1½-hour narrated Argosy Cruise touring the beautiful Lake Washington, where you can see gorgeous houses and jaw-dropping views. Or, if your group prefers to be the ones powering the boat, head to REI’s Boathouse at Meydenbauer Bay. You can schedule private, guided tours of Lake Washington on either kayak, canoe, pedal boats and more or take Stand Up Paddle (SUP) lessons with REI.

ARTS TOURS

Bellevue’s downtown is bursting with arts and culture.

Feed your creative side and enjoy an amazing docent-led tour of our world-class Bellevue Art Museum, where you can contemplate, appreciate and discuss visual pieces. You can complement that experience by heading next door to Bellevue Collection, where you can spot plenty of art gems while you experience the Northwest’s premier shopping and dining district, with over 200 shops, 50 restaurants and entertainment venues all connected by sky bridges.

COOKING EXPERIENCE

Old Bellevue is a charming high-street neighborhood, full of locally-owned boutiques and gift shops. Sample Fran’s Chocolates, a personal favorite of former President Barack Obama, then experience a hands-on culinary class taught by talented chefs at Whisk. They provide all supplies and organize a cooking class for your group that is 2.5 – 3 hours in duration, with hands-on prep, cooking and, of course, indulging. The experience includes small bites, wine, and dinner.
