The event featured an exclusive appearance by celebrated chef Shota Nakajima, who delighted guests with tastings of his signature Butter Poached Black Cod with Matsutake Mushrooms recipe.
In advance of the event, Chef Shota posted on his Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes look at his preparation for the dish. Audiences got a glimpse into his passion for mushroom foraging, and the making of his signature matsu butter. Audiences at Williams Sonoma Bellevue Square's grand opening gathered around the new demonstration kitchen, where Chef Shota prepared the dishes for everyone to enjoy. As questions for Chef Shota filled the air, he mingled with his fans to much delight.
