Bellevue's Bel-Arts District became an art village in 2009. What once was a light-industrial commercial area is now a vibrant mixed-use, urban district. The volunteer-run BelRed Arts District Community Alliance is the driving force behind the community. The new mural was designed by renowned Seattle artist Brady Black and painted by hundreds of community members. Made possible with support from the City of Bellevue, Sound Transit and EAC Studio, the mural is located at the BelRed Station (1700 130th Ave NE).
