On October 10, Visit Bellevue and Savor Cities celebrated the official launch of Bites of Bellevue Food Tours with a VIP event and ribbon-cutting ceremony at Mercato Stellina, the final stop on the inaugural Bites of Bellevue food tour. The event was led by Visit Bellevue's Executive Director Brad Jones, Savor Cities Chief Eating Officer Annie (Cheng) Sim, and Savor Cities Managing Director Heather Refvem, who together cut the ribbon to kick off this exciting new chapter in Bellevue’s culinary tourism programming.
This new initiative is designed to offer visitors, convention-goers, and meeting attendees a curated walking food tour that highlights Bellevue’s diverse culinary scene. The Bites of Bellevue tours provide an interactive and flavorful way for guests to explore local dining spots, giving them exclusive behind-the-scenes access and tastings.
The event marked a major milestone in Bellevue’s efforts to enhance its meetings and conventions offerings, allowing visitors and business travelers to experience the city’s rich food culture in an engaging way. Guests at the launch enjoyed Italian bites paired with Washington wines, and community leaders underscored the importance of culinary tourism in elevating Bellevue as a top destination.
