There's a new name making waves on Lake Washington this summer, offering kayak, canoe, and stand-up paddleboard rentals in Bellevue for locals and visitors looking to explore the water. 

Best Kayak Rentals is the new tour outfitter that has taken over the operations at Meydenbauer Bay Park and Enatai Beach Park boathouses. The change comes after REI Co-op announced the closure of its Experiences division earlier this year. But this isn’t goodbye to the quality service outdoor enthusiasts came to expect—Best Kayak Rentals is run by alumni of the REI Experiences team, who bring years of paddling expertise, safety training, and local knowledge to the shores of Bellevue.

Paddle Bellevue: Kayak, Canoe, and SUP Rentals Now Available on Lake Washington

With launch points at both Meydenbauer and Enatai, paddlers can choose between serene bayfront exploration or longer journeys toward Mercer Slough or the expansive Lake Washington shoreline. Rentals are available for all skill levels, whether you're new to kayaking or looking for your next SUP adventure. Currently, no reservations are required for rentals - just walk up! You can even bring your water-loving dog friend.
