Under a cool autumn sky, Bellevue Downtown Park glowed brighter than ever. On October 29, 2025, hundreds gathered beneath the skyline for the city’s first-ever Fall Drone Show, a vivid demonstration of light, technology, and Pacific Northwest imagination.

Presented by the Washington Festivals & Events Association (WFEA), Point Source, Sky Lites Drone Shows, PNW Axis and Visit Bellevue, the free community show was a highlight of the WFEA Annual Conference hosted at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. The conference drew event professionals from across Washington to Bellevue. 

“The Sky Lites Drone Show was the highlight of our conference – it was the first time that many of our delegates had ever seen one!" said Bruce Skinner, Executive Director of WFEA. "Even though this a part of our conference, it was great that we could also offer it to the citizens of Bellevue and surrounding communities.”

At exactly 7:30 p.m., the hum of conversation quieted as dozens of drones lifted above the pond. In perfect synchronization, they painted the night with glowing patterns. The park's outer circle was filled with conference attendees and locals alike, staring up into the night sky to experience the next mesmerizing 10 minutes.
