Visit Bellevue was excited to host our 4th and final Bellevue Boost for 2025. At November's Boost, we focused on making Bellevue a more accessible destination. Panelists included experts in accessible travel and adaptive resources, each helping Bellevue to welcome people with all abilities:

  • Andrés Villagrán of Wheel the World
  • Sharon Sini of the City of Bellevue
  • McKenzie Click, Program Director at Outdoors for All
  • Alden Gibbs Jr., local advocate and model

The discussion explored how accessibility shapes travel, community experience, and business engagement in Bellevue. Highlights include celebrating Bellevue's 25 Wheel the World Accessibility Verified partners and Accredited partners that have gone through Wheel the World’s Accessibility Academy, and learning about Outdoors for All, one of Visit Bellevue’s non-profit partners specializing in adaptive outdoor recreation and resources. Together, we shared practical insights and personal perspectives on how accessibility strengthens Bellevue for both visitors and the people who call it home.

About Bellevue Boost

Bellevue Boost is Visit Bellevue’s signature partner engagement program. Designed to bring together local small businesses, community organizations, and subject matter experts, the program focuses on learning, inspiration, and connection. Each Boost centers on a specific topic that supports business growth and enhances the visitor experience in Bellevue. Guests begin with light refreshments and time to connect before joining a moderated panel conversation. The atmosphere is collaborative and welcoming, creating a space where partners can exchange ideas and discover new resources. Every Boost concludes with a prize drawing that adds a sense of celebration and fun.
