Visit Bellevue is proud to support the award-winning Savor Food Tours organization for creating a totally custom tour tailored for Bellevue's walkable downtown. This new Bites of Bellevue Food Tour is an exciting journey that takes food enthusiasts on a thoughtfully-crafted walk through the Bellevue's vibrant eateries, offering a delicious blend of local flavors, Pacific Northwest influences, and international cuisines.
Here's everything you need to know about the inaugural tour, which will cover a part of downtown Bellevue, primarily focusing on Main Street.
What to Expect on the Tours
Each Bites of Bellevue Food Tour is a fully curated experience that lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. It features over 5 stops at some of Bellevue's most beloved eateries. Expect to eat great food and a totally personalized experience that will totally leave you feeling full at the end of the tour.
Walking
It is a walking tour, so please expect to be walking the streets of Bellevue. We recommend wearing some comfortable sneakers.
Art & Culture
In between bites, stop at specific points of interest to talk about the history of Bellevue, public street art, and overall community culture.

Dietary Restrictions, Fear Not
So the tour is very much a food tour, and it's all about authentically portraying the amazing foods that Bellevue has to offer. However, it is 2024 and dietary accommodations are readily available in Bellevue's modern culinary landscape.
If you're allergic to something, or you just don't eat certain ingredients, just let your tour guide know ahead of time, preferably before the tour. They'll work with the restaurants to accommodate with substitutions when available.

We got to try the super special Washington Roll that Chef John Howie created for us at Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar. Not on the regular menu, this is made with some incredible dungeness crab, smoked salmon, and Washington apple. Yum.

Here, we're eating this totally off-menu foraged mushroom crostini as part of our tour. The chanterelles were recently foraged in the wild evergreen forests of the Pacific Northwest. Sourced from Foraged & Found, a local forager that keeps the exact locations a secret. We also had some gulf prawns inspired by honey walnut shrimp, made with local ingredients and global techniques.
