If you’ve ever cracked into a pile of crab legs and thought, “I could eat this all week,” Bellevue heard you. From August 15–23, 2025, the city is rolling out its first-ever Crab Week as part of the brand-new Bellevue Culinary Weeks program.

That means one thing: crab is taking over menus across town. Think buttery Dungeness crab legs at Daniel’s Broiler, crispy King Crab tempura lollipops at Ascend, Singapore Pepper Crab at Monsoon, and yes—crab pizza at Moto Pizza.

What Is Crab Week in Bellevue?

Bellevue’s Culinary Weeks is a new city-wide food initiative debuting in 2025, featuring themed weeks dedicated to dishes like dumplings, noodles, berries—and now crab. Each week offers exclusive menus, a self-guided food trail, and foodie rewards via the Vibemap Culinary Passport.

Download the Vibemap app, check in at three or more participating restaurants, and you’ll unlock limited-edition rewards like plushie keychains. Complete all four Culinary Weeks (berry, crab, noodle, dumpling) and you’ll earn a Bellevue tote bag that screams foodie bragging rights.

Imagine it: turning a food crawl into a collectible adventure.

Why Bellevue? Why Now?

Bellevue might be best known for tech campuses and gleaming skyscrapers, but dig a little deeper and you’ll find a thriving food scene. Launching Culinary Weeks here makes sense: Bellevue sits between Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish, minutes from Puget Sound, and surrounded by some of the richest seafood waters in the world.

The city is also leaning into food tourism. By launching themed weeks—berries, noodles, dumplings, and crab—Bellevue is creating a year-round reason for locals and visitors to come hungry. Crab Week is the star because it celebrates a true Pacific Northwest staple.
